Confirming previous rumors, Logitech announced today it plans to release three new PC peripherals (two mice and a trackpad) that have been made especially for desktop and notebook users to access the "Modern" UI of Windows 8. All three products will be released in October. One of the three new devices is the super-smooth looking Touch Mouse T620, which will come with a way to access the "Modern" interface via six gestures along with ways to bring up the Windows 8 Start screen, showing and hiding the desktop mode and more. The wireless mouse will have a six month battery life and be priced at $69.99. Another Windows 8-based mice product from the company is the Zone Touch Mouse T400, which has a more traditional looking shape, along with a "touch zone" in the center that mimics the familiar scroll wheel in other PC mouse products. It also has six Windows 8 navigation gestures, along with a way to access the Start Screen. The mouse also has an 18 hour battery life. It will be priced at $49.99. Finally, for those of you who want a full trackpad on a desktop, Logitech will release the Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650. It will let users access a whopping 13 Windows 8 "Modern" UI gestures. it will have a one month battery life and be priced at $79.99.
