malakai1911
I'm not so sure that Obama has a cult of personality, so much as people are so beaten down and hopeless that anyone who would have been our next president after the train wreck of eight years of GWB would have been a glowing savior. And he's not president yet! Let's give him a chance before passing judgement? As for Gore and global warming... I'm not a scientist (well, Biology major, but biology and anatomy doesn't qualify me to talk about climate change, ha)... but I've read the IPCC reports, and I'm convinced enough. Here's something for republicans: Even if you think the IPCC is complete bullshit, there's nothing wrong with one of the primary goals of most environmentalists... moving to renewable resources for energy, especially if the end result is independence from foreign oil. (I'm a huge supporter of the USA not having to be influenced by a cartel of middle eastern nations manipulating one of our most important sources of energy.) irefay
My take on global warming: take care of what you have. I have talked to a few climatologists (while coaching them to shoot oddly enough). They pritty much laughed when I asked about global warming and the impact of humans. I guess we only give out <1% of the CO2 emitted on the planet.
