Not all of these are unnecessary for all of us  I've got a link in my favorites back on my own PC, but due to the recent problems it'll take approximately two hours(a bit less I think) before I can get to it since I don't remember the link by either name or address. In the mean time you should try GOOOOOGLE :)

do not disable all of these until you have read my edit on this knucklehead, he copy and pasted from another article, probably google

you can disable pretty much any amount of services, but the bottom line is you still want network functionality, my suggestion is writing how you connect to your network and what you want out of your computer, if you are the only computer this guide will be alot different, please respond

Hello halo!!!!

Configuring services is a matter of personal choice - for example the service preference of a gamer may not be suitable for everyone else.

Hope the following link helps you:-

You might also try The Ultimate Troubleshooter v4.84, available in the frontpage.

I have been using this and found it useful to prevent unnecessary program or services from running.

It also give some advice on how to disable it.

Whenever I install any software, I always use it to check for unwanted running services.

No offense to the person that wanted help/advice, but is this really a topic that should show up on the frontpage in the "Software News" section?
