Apologies for the late response, but I'm not receiving emails from this board although I switched it on.

I wrote that I ran the ESET uninstaller, after the uninstaller from the Start menu.

Maybe I should have written "downloaded ESET uninstaller".

The only thing that didn't work were updates.

Because the user and password fields were empty. But EAV was still activated after the failed updates. And every module had a green dot, except gamer mode (which is off by default).

But the initial virus signature database needed an update. It was dated 20131021.

I'm leaving things as it is, that's why I updated the post.

I can confirm that EPA 2013 is still working fine as well. I installed ESET for my parents and used the 2013 version of the fix; all of the modules are updated to 2014 versions.

It seems like the only difference is how they activate ESET: mara can run before or after installation, and epa requires safe mode.

I'm very confused with so many pages of 'fixes' - which fix actually works? AS tried TNod fixer - it downloads this and that, but always end result: cannot find ny valid licenses. You try the trial ones from different websites but they are rejected.

Could someone pleae either give the program for the fix and/or the working website(s).

Basically No ESET Fix applied, You just change the Update ESET to mirror ESET evaluation server, then you activate your

ESET eg (EAV/ESS/EEA/EES) as trial through Evalution ESET update server, finally you will get trial forever.

your ESET will always update Database/program components but with NO Expiration Date, year shown (your ESET is Activated).

Yes! All versions of ESET Product Activator work well on all ESET products. Also EPA 2015 is functioning as EPA 2013 in Safe Mode (No internet connection needed!). In addition, EPA 2015 now support ESET Endpoint Security!!

You should not have a problem.. Just bear in mind that pre-release modules are similar to beta...It boils down to personal prefs.

ESET products detect EPA as a RiskWare application and as mentioned by ESET product, EPA is clean of any virus!

You can easily checkout the font names used in PDF documents by opening the file using Adobe Reader!

File > Properties > Fonts

and the used font name for Title is "GoodTimes"
