It's a very useful application, You can use it if you want to reboot/restart Windows in SAFE mode, just click on the desire button.. then the process will run automatically. Very easy ! Dukun Cabul Posted July 22, 2012 Author Share Posted July 22, 2012 Hello...my system windows xp 32 bit...norton antivirus 2012 19.0.0.128...error when trying to launch NTR in safe mode after setup completed, process of norton account is terminated in task manager... Please try the following procedures: 1. Install Norton. 2. Update your Norton (important). 3. Restart Windows in Safe mode. 4. While in Safe mode, launch NTR >> click on "Reset/Convert" button. 5. If there's nothing wrong with the processes, your computer will automatically restart back in Normal mode (original boot configuration). 6. Once your Windows back in Normal mode, open Norton and complete your Norton activation. 7. Go to/click on "SUPPORT" tab and select/click on "SUBSCRIPTION STATUS". 8. If you cannot connect to Norton server or "Symantec Service Framework has stopped working", just close the program (Norton) and "LOG OFF" (your Windows user account) then "LOG ON" again >> your Norton will run normally (again), then repeat step #7 (check your subscription status). Good luck! Note: If you only want to reset your Norton subscription or your Norton trial period, just run NTR in Windows Normal mode, no need to run in Safe mode. I even installed fresh Norton AntiVirus 2012 on other PC/WinXP hoping I'll have the same problem like you, but nothing happened, everything is fine on my PC !
