the file size ouput option is gone.

That was from 0.9.6 (major update):

  • Target Size is no longer supported.
Average Bitrate encoding is still available and you can calculate the bitrate (or use a 3rd party calculator tool) for an approximate target file si

Note that Constant Quality is the recommended encoding method as it has many benefits as detailed here.

If you choose not to calculate it yourself or use a 3rd party tool, you can continue to use 0.9.5 if you require this functionality. Old versions are available from the download page.
