Explain your problem properly, the title was the worst ever...

Bad titles may include 'Help Needed', 'I'm stuck' etc.

No, no, you're English is not the problem  But you should try to give as much information as possible, when I saw this topic I was like WTF??

But if I understand correctly rashad already solved your problem, right?

You don't have to manually install a Virus Signature Database. Every AntiVirus will update its Virus Signature Database automatically, so you don't have to do anything

To download AVG go here and click Download (Free Edition) OR Download and Keygen. You don't need the keygen for the Free Edition, but you do need it for the Pro edition(this is the Download).

Maybe you can try to grab a download link of the new Comodo Internet Security database.

--Got you wrong there, but Comodo also has an auto updating solution.

I actually need to download the updates manually at work because of download rules in the network which prevents direct http download and thus making antivirus automatic update useless.

@talakitok: to download the updates manually go to http://free.avg.com/download-update

you'll see 4 files for download

1. "All necessary modules" is an update for the programs components

2. "Link Scanner DB" is a database of links if you enabled the link scanner in AVG

3 and 4 are the virus definitions AVG database has two parts that needs updating AVI/IAVI example virus database version is 270.8.4/1753 which means AVI=270.8.4 and IAVI=1753, check your database version to see what needs updating.

after you downloaded the files go to AGV and click Tools->Update from directory and point to the folder where all updates are downloaded(you can do more that one update at a time.

Well, I don't want to blow your bubbles mate, but CIS is still on the testing phase even after its final release.

No offense to you and the COMODO team (I love the COMODO team), but it's still too early for its AV.

If you want to know more, just visit their forums.

COMODO Forums

So, recommending CIS to others may not be a good idea.

However, if you're going to recommend COMODO firewall only, then that's a different issue  .
