rajeesh
Sapphire's AMD Radeon HD 7850 Video Card Traditional AMD video card manufacturing partner Sapphire is apparently preparing to release three new updated models in the AMD Radeon HD 7850 line of products. Two of these cards will come with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory and one will only sport 1 GB. AMD’s HD 7850 video card design is powered by the company’s Pitcairn GPUs featuring 1,280 shaders and 80 texture units, all using GDDR 5 memory running at 4800 MHZ effective speed. The cards come complete with AMD’s UVD3 video decoder, Eyefinity and ZeroCore technologies. The first 2 GB model is reportedly clocked at the standard GPU frequency of 860 Mhz, and the second 2GB card is clocked at 920 MHz and has its memory overclocked to a high 5000 MHz effective speed. The 1 GB version has its GPU clocked at 900 MHz, but the memory runs at the same 4800 MHz effective speed. All models will come imbued with dual-BIOS technology and will sport Sapphire’s Dual-X dual-fanned cooler. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Sapphire-Launches-Three-New-AMD-Radeon-HD-7850-Video-Cards-280406.shtml
calguyhunk
Am I getting this wrong or do they already have those on the market already? Card 1 - 2GB 7850 - Core Clock 860 Mhz, Memory Clock 4800 Mhz Card 2 - 2GB 7850 - Core Clock 920 Mhz, Memory Clock 5000 Mhz In any case those things apparently are OC-ing to 1200-ish and that's something to talk 'bout :)
