rajeesh
Samsung's Series 9 PLS 27" Professional Monitor Samsung Electronics America Inc., part of Korean giant electronics company Samsung Co., has just announced the availability of the new Series 9 professional monitor in an exclusive online store. Samsung’s new display features a 27” diagonal size and a very high quality LCD panel. The technology Samsung used for the new Series 9 monitor is called PLS. This is short for Plane to Line Switching technology and it is a proprietary Samsung IP. The advantage PLS holds over regular IPS is the fact that it gives better view angles and has less brightness degradation once the user moves to side angles. Starting from June 1st, the new Samsung Series 9 professional PLS monitor will be available exclusively at newegg, and from June 28th many other online retailers will be able to provide the new $1,120 wonder. That’s about €960 for the European buyer. http://news.softpedi...le-277743.shtml

rajeesh
What does the signify? 2160p (3840×2160) is called "Quad HD" since it displays four times the number of pixels of the highest HDTV standard resolution, 1080P (a standard which is also known as "Full HD"). dcs18
Didn't like the frontal view, but after scrolling down found the side and back view quite adorable. Couldn't resist thinking of a movie I bunked school to watch - The extraterrestrial.
