Internet Download Manager

idml5la.gif

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds

by up to 500 percent, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive

error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted

downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer

shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface

makes IDM user friendly and easy to use.

Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that

features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart

downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other

download accelerators and managers that segment files before

downloading starts, Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files

dynamically during download process. Internet Download Manager reuses

available connections without additional connect and login stages to

achieve better acceleration performance.

Dear friends of IDM (Internet Download Manager),

I received a mail from my friend Gag, that he doesn't want to make any patches for IDM anymore. So he gave me some instructions how to patch the file.

In the future there will not be any Gag's releases, it is really sad for me, because i believe, he is the best one.

The special edition of IDM was created for the FULL version only. It is not for TRIAL, so please download the FULL (idman514f.exe):

http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/com...2/idman514f.exe

The special edition gives you direct access to nsanedown.com website from the systray. It was created by myself using Gag's instructions about it:

Mediafire sharecode: /?zvljrzzdgzt

Marik, please update the RAR archive in http://nsanedown.com/?request=5936931 , it is not for trial, so people should know...

I meant the comment in the rar archive. It says: ...to make your trial to full version...

Why ? why GAG stop making patch ? because some morons dislikes his work ? like 9down admin and his goons ? and some mods here ?

FACK THEM, they are all losers born by morons in this world

Who says GAG is a he....

And about the special part: what do you mean? Can I download off nsane.down now or is it just a shortcut that is created?

I know Gag since he made for us his first patches. So i can tell you about this...

Now the special part: You know the systray, this is the part of the taskbar near the windows clock. There you will find the icon of IDM. If you rightclick on that icon, you have normally either "Order online", or in Gag's patch "Google". I made a special edition which gives you direct access to nsane.down website through anonym.to service...

I was once a loyal user of the GAG patch - however, had to switch loyalties to the 'UnReal' patch due to 3 reasons:-

1) The 'UnReal' patch gets released on time . . . . . . every time,

2) The 'UnReal' patch allows one to register IDM with any personalized name of one's choice and

3) The 'UnReal' patch works on the 'Retail' version, too.

Nevertheless, look forward to your patches on behalf GAG (the patches were qualitative) - hope you'd be able to incorporate the above 3 advantages in your forthcoming releases.

1) UnReal patch gets released on time, because it's made to work with the numerous build number. It doesn't get updated that much, so far it's only in update 3.

2) So does gag's, but you have to add or modify the keys in the registry yourself

3) Gag's patch has always worked with the retail version

I'd say they are about the same, even though I trust in Gag/J's work much more than I do in that UnReal patcher.

1) Yeah, I agree that's the case (maybe the GAG patch wasn't in wide circulation like The 'UnReal one.)

2) OK great (the 'UnReal' patch requires registry editing, too.)

3) Marik, this one IMO may not be the case (if you will navigate up to the initial post, Olexijl seems to be trying to imply to you abut this - I'm reproducing his sentence below.)

The special edition of IDM was created for the FULL version only. It is not for TRIAL, so please download the FULL (idman514f.exe)

Anyways, since our member Olexijl is continuing with the GAG tradition, I'm more than convinced to switch loyalties back to the GAG fix.

Just a little problem about UnREaL patch. I asked Gag about this already. It seems, the patch disables something, but the webcheck seems to be active (perhaps i am wrong, but i think so). Thats why people could get the "fake serial" message later...

Marik, please remove the UnREaL patch from the nsane.down site. One friend of mine sent me an email with a new patch, which can fix TRIAL AND RETAIL...

So i asked Gag for approval...

Download

 Mediafire sharecode: /?zwlc1hg3tiz

Please publish this patch on nsane.down

Olexijl

PS: I used this patch for fixing. I removed nags, using Gag's instructions, patched with the patch i share now... The patch is universal, for future versions too...

You don't need to patch your TCPIP.SYS file. And you do not need to kill IDMan.exe, you can simply close the app before patching, as it tries to kill it first, to ensure everything is good and then it patches your TCPIP file to allow up to 50 connections for the ADSL at the same time. And of course it fixes your IDMan.exe...

I cannot translate that all, it was written in vietnamese... and i do not know the language.

Oh, now I see - when I download the setup 'idman514f.exe,' I'm actually getting the retail/full not 'Trial.' Thanks for the clarification.

the previous gag patches worked for both trial and retail version. I for one can confirm that

Thanks for this confirmation - I was just planning to test the 'GAG' patch on a 'Trial' setup. BTW, point # 3) is also resolved due to this.

Marik, please remove the UnREaL patch from the nsane.down site.

Don't even dream of it GlamBoy - though both of us love the 'GAG' patch, we need to be more democratic & tolerant (folks other than us use these patches, too.) Both these patches can easily co-exist.

UnREaL patch has always rocked and still rocks..! :) Works with many builds, great code.. No need to download patches for every new build..

So why talk bs about it, it rocks.. Sure you are welcome to release other patches, but be sensible.. :)

With my pledge of tust towards your 'GAG,' patch, I just downloaded it re-installed my fully functional IDM and applied your patch. My ancient NOD 32 detected it - I'm not alarmed by that (you Olexijl are our beloved member.) While I'm not concerned with the NOD32 alert, I would like you - beloved creator of this GAG patch to explain the first screenshot wherein your patch has fired up my CMD pronpting me whether I'd like to open up my port or not. Anyways just for the sake of posterity, I attach that memorable moment below:-

If you are talking about the TCP patch i'm sorry to inform you that Nod is the only Av that flags lvlord's tcp patch as mallware even if it's not it's just a simple hex editor. Read more info here.

Yes he is, I guess Olexijl incorporated that patch into his patch or something?

However I don't know what the Open port window is about...

Like I've already posted - no concerns whatsoever about what NOD32 (or any other AntiVirii Programs detects) I'm least concerned - we pirates know it's just a false +ve especially since our very own member has created it to post the same just moments ago.

I'm just perplexed with the 'Command Prompt' asking to open up my port.
