In first atempt i blocked version 7 insted 8 in firewall, lol!

Now v8 is working i unistalled version 7 :)

I also realized that no need to add host file with any link. I took that info. off from topic, therefore there is no restriction going into the developer web-side.

I didnt added host files just disconected from internet and registred and after that i blocked with firewall and so far its working :)

If you are having trouble create rules for camtasiastudio.exe to be blocked.

You can try to block the activation server via host file:

127.0.0.1       65.52.240.48127.0.0.1       activation.cloud.techsmith.com

I have not tested.

That happens for full installation also, cause we are stopping internet access bypass online validation, you need to close that window every time you open Camtasia. That pop window nothing to do functionality of Camtasia only update check.

You need to copy the patch installation folder and run there once as administrator privilege. Patch bypass Camtasia online validation.
