spootnack
K-Lite is a bloatware. Here you are the explanation.

Dodel
K-Lite is a bloatware. Here you are the explanation. You could be right, however it could also be that the packer being used is also detected as a FP (false positive). I use K-lite and as long as you check what your installing it's as good (if not better) than other codec packs. :) Simply saying it's bloatware is well albeit possibly correct is also not informing of the another reason the pack could be seen as an FP. Just my drunkered thoughts. Regards Dodel
lazzser
It´s not a false positive, ESET is detecting a potentially unwanted application. This version of K-Lite hijacks your browser if you don´t uncheck the appropriate option during install.
sanjoa
Thanks you all. Why are you sayin' K-Lite is bloatware?
Administrator DKT27 Posted June 23, 2012 Administrator Share Posted June 23, 2012 K-Lite bloated? Seriously though, it's a little bloated, hence we have Standard version on frontpage. ;)
spootnack
Something called Lite would let you select every little thing to install or not... if not it's not Lite. (Only non-packs installations are lite. :showoff: )
