SacredCultivator
Dear Readers,Not too sure when this began but whenever i access the Task Manager this is how it appears:As you can tell, it is missing the top portion and bottom status bar... And when checking the task manager, it does say that System Idle Process is at about 95% so not too sure what causes that...
Anteus
Please use Spoliers for such long copy 'n paste logs and just double click the grey frame to get it to normal ;)
shought
Confirmed that Anteus ;) And about uTorrent and your music, I don't know what's going on, are you seeding the same albums which you are playing? The System Idle Process shows the not in use percentage of your CPU, so if it says 95% it's almost doing nothing(which is good, you have resources to spare). If that process says 0 all the time you're either encoding/decoding or running another CPU intensive task or your system is just slow :P
SacredCultivator
My apologies, but hmm even witht he Spoiler Tag I wasn't too sure what oyu meant by "just double click the grey frame to get it to normal".And for the music, nopes it is for any songs and I don't seed any songs.Don't use my Desktop for Encoding so that's not hte problem... shought
Just double click anywhere on the Taskmanager GUI except for inside the white area and the buttons ;)I might be able to help you out with Winamp, what CPU do you have? (GHz is most important)
SacredCultivator
Ooo hehe on the Taskmanager GUI, gotcha, thanks fixed that one.As for my CPU info:AMD Athlon 64 PRocessor 3000+1.81Ghz, 2.00GB RAMNot sure if you need anything else... and yeah this only occurred recently as far as I know. And just testing yeah, once I shut off uTorrent it plays just fine, but once uTorrent begins running then you can tell a difference.
Anteus
Have you tried foobar2000 and if that doesn't work try to update sound drivers.
shought
You can also try messing around with the Winamp settings ;) Buffer and stuff like that, first update your drivers though, to see if that works.
SacredCultivator
Hmm seems there are new drivers for my sound card, so shall download/install those soon.I've tried Windows Media Player and MPC and both gave same problem.
shought
Defragmenting your HD might also help, as the files might be fragmented in 10+ parts your HD will experience problems when on one side writing/reading data for uTorrent and on the other side finding 10 parts of your music files ;)
Anteus
What if you stream audio from the web or USB?
SacredCultivator
I defrag my HD's quite often actually so that shouldn't be the problem.Tried streaming via USB and that has stuttering.Streaming via YouTube it's fine, and I tried playing a Video File on my Desktop and yeah there are some stuttering as well.Downloading the Update Driver but going soooo slow, and all alternative mirrors are slow as well... so got to wait it out.---EDIT:Nopes updating the drivers didn't help much... Mentioned about Winamp Settings, I use the 'lite' version, so not too sure how much I can really mess around with...
PsychoticxBloodxLust
if this is new occuring issue try downloading and running combofix it can be as simple as a regkey something similar happened to friend thats what i had him do it seemed to have fixed it for him, don't know what else you could really try

Anteus
It can cause many things ;) before codecpacks could mess up the computer pretty bad, nowadays with like CCCP I havn't got any problems.
SacredCultivator
@shought: I got the Lite version from the link provided hereI tried uninstalling/reinstalling both winamp/utorrent, no change.Codec, I use K-Lite Codec Pack, and well I never really had any problems with it before...Oh right, using NOD32 2.7, as I don't know why but version 3 gives me problems. Donaldo
Cultivator, just couldn't help but notice that you're using the old inbuilt 'Windows Task Manager.' Perhaps you'd like to try a more customizable and also beautiful replacement - 'Process Explorer.' BTW, this freeware has been taken over by Microsoft. You can take a look at it at the following link:-http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb896653.aspx
