Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0? (CONTINUED)

I don't Know why in the name of GOD all of you are not using this fix from Box:Eset3Box4ever 2.1 = (auto) because Your EsetNod32 will always have 31 days and it even shows the virus signature database. :dance2:

still don't see the virus signature database on taskbar as Marsu's fix!

My question: How does Marsufix 2.3 reset the trial and more important, when does it do so? Because i just installed it and it says there's only 4 days remaining... Do i need to restart or something? The Eset Ultimate topic told me that it would change the expiration date every update, i did update, but the date didn't change...

it reset the trial changing the registry value of the trial days, and it do this after every succesfully update and after every restar.

first control that the version of ur nod is trial, and not commercial (i think that this is done automatically by the fix, but i'm not sure)

then make an update or, if there aren't update availables, restart ur pc, or wait

Marsufix 2.3 works great for me. Fresh install of ESET Smart Security 3.0.650.0. Im running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit (v6.0.6001 Service Pack 1). 31 days and still counting. Thank you!

1. Download Eset EAV or ESS from www.eset.com

2 - Install anti-virus and Restart PC ;

3 - Click on Eset icon ( taskbar,near watch ) and choose "open window" ;

4 - Where it says "display: Standard mode" , change to Advanced Mode ;

5 - Now, go to " Setup " / Advanced Setup / Update / Edit / here click on ADD ;

6 - ADD this "Eset_eval_Server:

8 - Run Marsu-fix;

9 - Update manually (just the 1st time).

Yes, except I never did (or have even heard of) step 7. Shouldn't need to restart. Also after everything is installed and you've updated, you can remove the eset_eval server and go back to automatic.

Something I've figured out and it worked for me several times (not sure if it's just a coincidence).

Using Marsu-fix 2.3 on ESS 3.0.650 over WinXP SP3 sometimes it doesn't reset the trial countdown after an update.

Each time something like that happens, I clear the update cache and then update. And on the next successful update the trial resets.

Has anyone else tried something like that or is it just coincidence?

I'm using Box4ever 2.1 [x86] with EAV 3.0.650.0 on Win XP Pro Corp 32 bit x86 w/SP2 & all updates, (I'll wait a while I think for XPSP3, this rig is running smooth right now).

For whatever reason, this Box Fix, {and Eset3Box4ever_D} is the only Fix of all of them here, that worked for me, on 3.0.650.0. No errors or problems running the Fix, stays on 31 days, auto updates, and the program has been catching viruses.
