The rumor mill has been turning and turning while trying to grind out all possible details about the AMD Radeon HD 7990 dual-GPU graphics card.

So far, we have a pretty clear picture of what the card with two Tahiti 28nm chips will be able to do.

The video board has 6 GB of GDDR5 VRAM, 6-monitor EyeFinity, 4,096 Graphics CoreNext stream processors and probably two 8-pin power plugs.

What we didn't know all that well was the launch date.

We still don't know it, exactly, but DonanimHaber has provided a pretty narrow window.

According to their sources, AMD has chosen Computex 2012 as the time and place.

That is early June in Taipei, Taiwan (the show will last from June 5 to June 9).

All this means that NVIDIA will have a nice head start (GTX 690 is set for an April 28 reveal)

True that but NVIDIA drivers keep crashing on most OS's still, usually screen goes weird looking for 10 seconds or so and then the message is "The display driver model <insert your driver version # here> has stopped responding and has recovered" or similar msg (infact I just had that message come up not that long ago on the modded 301 kit driver I installed, other than that, the 301 kit is fairly damn stable).

Modded driver may crash..And original Beta drivers too but final official release should not be crashed until your system is infected or some game incompatible with your card is run or some similar high graphics tasks which leads the cards to its bottleneck..And due to excessive heating for the lake of sufficient cooling, your card may crash..It is other thing that a stable official release found faulty, then it will be cleared ASAP with next update.

I agree buddy..intel+nvidia is better than a relative intel+AMD/ATI combination..intel is the best regarding CPUs but when we say about graphics processing, always comes Nvidia followed by AMD. Ofcourse, AMD CPUs are not as good as intel but in case of GPU, AMD is better than intel my friend, this I admit.
