what norton is detecting and the scripts and packers used to make the keygen, it's completely harmless, it's not even a virus, it just has almost the same signature.

besides do you honestly think, that we would host infected keygens/cracks?

Sorry! Did not mean to offend or accuse anyone. I have never had anything flagged-up before when d/l from nsane.

It is just that NAV picked this up & kept warning me.

Having said that, I have only been using NAV since 6th August 2008, I do not know whether this is characteristic of NAV.

Do people generally experience false-negative with NAV, any advice will be appreciated.icon14.gif

Every AV flags some files that aren't viruses... Otherwise there should be a definition for every variant of a virus in the database, which would we nearly impossible.

No one offended :) You should read this topic, for the future :( (It wasn't there when you posted :P)

You will always find that av's will be detecting these type of things pretty soon. This is due to the fact that major software companies got fed up with all the crackers making cracks, keygens, releasing serials that make their product full version, instead of trial as it was supposed to be.

Now, what do they do is that they contact major Anti-Virus companies and imply that they update their virus signature database for their product with the latest cracks/keygens signatures, to scare off ppl into thinking that the crack they are downloading is virus-ed and could pose a threat to you're system.

This is, of course a lie to prevent you from downloading them and using them to fully register and use their software without having to pay for it. It's all about making money and politics these days. Pay no attention to the reports norton is giving out, and if you still prefer to be cautious, then rest assured that what you're downloading from NsaneDown, may it be a keygen or crack, it's not virused.

So you will not find any type of virus-ed cracks nor keygens hosted on our site. This being said, you can either buy and support the software, or use the cracks we provide and register them "da illegal way hahahahah*.

If you have anymore questions after this, then fell free to post, and I'll do my best into replying, if I can that is.
