Uninstalling of Programs

Dear Readers,

Not too sure how big of a deal this is but I am well at least i think I am a 'minimalist' and was wondering if I might be able to uninstall a few things. Here is a Thumbnail of what programs I am speaking of:

Basically they are 'updates' of each other. So I was wondering if there are any I can just 'safely' uninstall the 'older-versions' and just keep the latest one.

Never really realized about these till recently when I was uninstalling things.

As for Visual C++ I must say I don't know, but you can safely go ahead and remove the older Java versions. However you can not uninstall Microsoft.NET Framework's older versions :thumbsdown: They 'build on each other'.

@shought: Thanks for the quick response, will go ahead and delete the older versions of Java, hehe safe to just use Your Uninstaller for those right?

And I guess I might as well ask this to...

Although they don't show up in Your Uninstaller...

Is it safe to Delete 'Netmeeting' / 'Outlook Express'

^Or is there a way to uninstall those without damaging the system.

If you want to remove Windows Componants "safely" under windows XP use XP Lite.

Operating System

.NET Framework 3.0 can be installed on any of the following systems:

- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 1 (SP1)

- Windows XP SP2

- Windows Vista *

*Windows Vista comes with .NET Framework 3.0. There is no separate installation package required. The standalone .NET Framework 3.0 packages are not supported on Vista.
