7) Run task as soon as possible

In "Run application" window, browse to nodlogin.exe:

(C:\Program Files\UlisesSoft\nodlogin.exe)

In "Work folder" window,

(C:\Program Files\Eset\Eset Nod32 Antivirus)

Click OK.

Why is the work folder not changed to resamble the run application field?

I am still testing to see if it make any different.

Edit: Marik, think you are right. In 'Work folder' window, it should be (C:\Program Files\UlisesSoft)

Tested, so far

Firstly, yes, the work folder should be changed to the new install path.

Secondly, I forgot to mention that 9.9b fixed the issue for the people who were having the issues I described :)

Do we have to live with the nasty pop up msg on boot up?

With this installed my eset pops up saying it needs attention... then says pw and that is 100%.

Also it wont enter the password/username while settings are protected by password hehe

Are we talking about Nodlogin 9.9b ?

What nasty pop-up?, I do not have any pop up at all.

@Sonar:

you should probably remove the password.

about the pop-up (license insertion), I think NodLogin has the option / parameter to disable that.

for nodenabler are we suppose to use the same schedule setup?

For NodEnabler, it must be used often since it just gathers licenses through websites.

Licenses found through websites die quickly.

You can schedule it like Nodlogin, just that the .exe is in C:\Program Files\Eset\Eset Nod32 Antivirus and the work folder is C:\Program Files\Eset

I use this for v2 and it is working right.

Just browse to where nodenabler is installed.

If you are using Nod32 v4 then remember to disable self-defense.

i did notice that when one try to install it else where it would error not actually install there. is it okay to folder the file afterwards so it is outside of este?

Yeah i get the normal 9.9b license popup and thats normal.. but i also i get a nod popup (nod is orange on boot up then throws the msg needs attention...

then nodlogin does its job.

its always on desktop start up.

Edit

I went back to v3 with marzufix, gave up with v4

Hello.

I wanted to know if NodLogin also has problems with the Vista UAC... Like Mara fix or Marsu fix? I'm talking about NOD32 v4...

Secondly, there's some discussion going on about changing the 'working folders'... are the instructions on page 1 meant to be changed in anyway?

And do we finally have to disable Self Defense? There was nothing of that kind in the instructions on page 1.

:P

It's so confusing trying to decipher the many lines of conversations in one thread...

Thanks.

The _Readme!.txt in the frontpage contains the details you missed in the discussion regarding ESET Fixes for v4...

Unless mara or box updates their fixes...

Yes, I have gone through all the _Readme!.txt files (both for the Mara fix, and the NodLogin). The Nodlogin readme simply points to this forum's first page, unlike the Mara fix readme, which answered my questions... I'm trying to make up my mind about which one to use, or if at all to move to NOD32 4.0.

If you want to use Nodlogin 9.9b, just follow the front page tutorial. It has been edited for the latest Nodlogin.

The latest Nodlogin created a folder called UlisesSoft which is in Program Files. Nodlogin.exe is in this folder.

Thanks.... And the Vista UAC issue?

Go to the Program Files\UlisesSoft\Nodlogin.exe , right click and allow administration right(I think! as I do not use Vista)

The NodLogin program is scheduled to go off at every update of NOD32. I meant to ask if that would trigger the UAC confirmation alert every time...
