If it scans slow for your liking... go turn up its speed in the back tab.. to 100%

think default install is set to 50%. But my twin core thing, it seldom used more than 50% x 2 when set 100%

its smart..scan pauses when you need cpu for something else...combination of 50% cpu max setting & graciously giving cpu cycles to other processes... thats why it seems slow on scans. It doenst want to bother you.
