I've been recently impressed with Firefox 12 and I'm considering to use it along side Google Chrome, before I switch for a while. The reason I like the new Firefox is because it's pretty fast, smooth and I like the appearance (though it's basically the same). I'd like to know what you guys think.

I've been using Opera for years and I don't intend to change. It has all the features I need, plus some more, without having to install any extensions!

It's fast and looks great, so basically it's the best browser for me. :)

I really like Opera, but I do not use it for a few reasons:

- Lots of features I do not need.

- Choppy scrolling at certain websites.

- Site incompatibility - sometimes.

I'm using the V12 and the x64-bit variant of the V14 concurrently. The V14 rocks and I'm quite surprised at Mozilla for putting the x64-bit development on the back-burner.

using waterfox 11

switch from google chrome

reason for switching was features(mainly addons) and performance(64-bit simply lives to expectation to be faster)...there may be better but im a simple user im contented with waterfox for its simplicity

using opera as a secondary browser next to waterfox.

I use latest Firefox Beta for about years and have not swtiched to anything, and I'm very happy with it. :)

Thanks for the poll, can get nice information from it. ;)

From Firefox to Comodo Dragon.

Since v4 of FF the main issues that i have with that browser (performance, memory) couldn't

be solved in newer builds, just higher version numbers, that is why i switched to chromium-based

Dragon, because it runs much better, has similar features and i can use almost every important

(for me) addon from FF also in Dragon. :)

Voted FF from IE because of performance (speed, rendering), appearance (looks much better-used to be colorful, cherubic and cheerful, now post-mod and sophisticated :)), features (all those add-ons, COME ONNNNN...) and others (security).

I actually switched from IE (back in the 90's) to Mosaic to Netscape to Flock (played around with it a bit) to Firefox and finally to Palemoon. I think I've found my soul-mate :P

The only complaint is that I don't get the Beta channel

i use IE in my younger time, then switch to Firefox not long after it launch,

SECURITY, feature, and performance were the reason for the switch.

For years I'm using Mozilla Firefox. For long sessions on the internet I use Firefox and when I need to do a quick search I use Google Chrome.

I use pale moon primarily & opera as a back up. I am satisfied with both so far. In a pinch I also use ie but as a last option.

It should surprise nobody that IE is where it is at in a poll on what can loosely be termed a tech forum. Also, Safari has stayed where I had expected it to on a form that's mainly 'bout PC apps.

Also, maybe for the sake of those free spirits who take the road less traveled, this poll should have included an 'others' option to account for multi-engine browsers like Lunascape, Avant Ultimate, or Maxthon.

This poll is showing contradictory results:

- Most currently used browser: Firefox

- Most ditched browser: Firefox

:P
