Me neither but I went with patching the uxtheme.dll and download Windows Visual Themes and install them in C:\Windows\Resources\Theme.

I was referring to the Vista version, I assume, since that is what I'm running.

Do that :D But leave a link to the latest version for people who own the program :D

Maybe mack it a RAR file(Installer build 55, keygen, instructions)?

Probably a good idea until a new patch is available.

I'm having the same problem, everytime I try to change anything at all, it switches everything to windows classic. It's useless as is.

WindowBlinds officially is for WinXP. They are trying to make the program compatible with WinVista and that`s why some

times it fails, I think.

Or maybe not...

ok, the problem is that it keeps registry data from previous installations, so if you try to install over it and then re-apply the patch, it won't work.

now here are the steps to actually make it work with the provided keygen/patch

  • 1. Download and install Your Uninstaller

  • 2. After registering it with the keygen, open it and search for "windowblinds"

  • 3. Uninstall it. At some point near the end of the uninstallation "windowblinds" will ask you to reboot your pc for the changes to take effect or some bs like that, DO NOT press ok to reboot your pc, instead press cancel to allow Your Uninstaller to finish searching for obsolete registry keys/files for WB and remove them

  • 4. After that reboot your pc, and then install windowblinds, following the registration steps provided in the kg

  • 5. Now there's just one more step that isn't listed in the "NFO" file. After step 5 "5) Generate a keyfile and save it in the same folder" there's another thing that needs to be done

  • 6. Step 6) After generating a keyfile be sure to make it "Read Only" so that WB will fail if it attempts to modify it

well that's about it, have fun
