Hi I have been away from windows for a few years using linux but my new lappie came with vista so I am trying it out again for a bit. Anyway in the olden days I could aways reset the trial period for outpost with trial reset but the latest version doesn' t reset anymore. With another trialkey finder utilitity (trashreg) I managed to set my days to 0 ;)

does anyone know how to reset the trial for outpost? I don' t want to use cracks or leaked keys for my security software....

^^LOL at that.ffi mate,a crack is a crack whatever name you call it.Be it trial resetter/reg key/patch/keygen/cracked .exe...whatever.Please read the "end user agreement" when you install a soft.It clearly says that any means to extend the preset days of trial is considered illegal.

You may find what you're looking for, at the following thread:-

http://www.nsaneforums.com/index.php?showtopic=11117

(When you post there say Hi to Box on my behalf - he specializes at Trial Timers resetting & Extending.)

ps:- The best option to fix a shareware is a keygen/serial - worse come worse, your key may get blacklisted and/or the program may expire.

Good-luck, have fun!!!!

I used to have Outpost firewall a few years back, I used the 'leaked keys' you mentioned. No problem encountered then, just don't upgrade Outpost.

Just need to update the anti-spyware.

It was working perfectly then. Good luck! :D
