Not a problem here, either. But, why should our (your & my) HIPS rules in ESET be necessarily identical to Knightmare's rules???

mostly people don't know how to change the rule :lol:

i don't think disable HIPS will reset any setting

maybe some file permission error

can you test it again so we can be sure that disable HIPS fix it

Test it again? I was able to run multiple scans with HIPS disabled and enabled. I don't know how to recreate the problem.

I guess, but I'm able to run scans on my computer just fine and I have the same setup as his. I didn't have to disable HIPS.
