These peers send out fake or corrupt data in order to waste bandwidth and slow down file transfers. In addition to that they might even log and track you. IPFilter.dat is a file that has has a list of known bad IPs which allows your P2P client to block them. IP Filter Downloader downloads the IPFilter.dat file for you from your preferred source. The compressed RAR archive will be downloaded and extracted automatically. If the file already exist on the selected location, it will be overwritten.
