win7 Not showing Mp3 files advanced properties

Some days back all mp3 were displaying album, artist etc. in window explorer.

but now only name and size is showing up. they are present in win xp and mp3 tag editor.

i searched google and nothing helped.

In windows xp "regsvr32 shmedia.dll" help in this issue. so tried this in win7, result was shmedia.dll not found. downloaded this and used the "regsvr32 shmedia.dll". it registered succesfully but not worked.

then created new account with administrator privillege. but it also not worked.

also when i try to change their artists etc. from detail pane it shows " an unexpected error is keeping you from applying properties to the file. error code 0*80004002"

i removed all media features of windows then reinstalled them.

removed recently installed program. but so far nothing happened.

so plz provide some solution to the problem.

also noticed that error code is different for different kind of files.
