Note: If you use another sound plugin such as AC3 filter on a multi speaker system, you might have to deselect the auto feature, because it might select the technologies meant for stereo speaker systems instead of SRS Circle Surround, that is for multi speaker setups only. By deselecting the auto feature an manually selecting the Circle Surround technology you can be sure that any sound source will be processed to surround!

This can happen if one player directly opens the preferred device first in stereo and another player opens the default device (SRS device) later while the first application is still playing. The SRS device cannot change the output stream if another application is directly using the sound card. Also, your sound card must support multi-channel output for SRS Circle Surround II decoding.

It is indeed a great program, maybe they should added to applications section on the frontpage. I do not think they have a similar applications there :pirate:

Some people believe everything they are told! Of course virus companies are going to say its a virus, it's an illegal process going on! What do people expect if they are not going to pay for something! The internet is slowly making people lose the way to think for themselves! ;)

I personally don't think it is a virus since most of the AV say it's not, but it's up to you to decide.

Is it better than DFX ?

Definitely! Much, much better! DFX only give me headaches on my worthless speakers, but SRS makes me feel good!

Is it better than DFX ?

I use DFX aswell as SRS & together I've found the sound is even better. But with SRS I've found it can produce a slight tinnyness, lacks bass. Well It does when left on normal preset. Some tinkering of your own & you can get the right sounding music. Try both together & see what you think. I find DFX enhances the sound & brings up the level of it & SRS gives the audio richness, just with a little bit of tin!

Get Sandboxie & you won't have to ever worry if there is a virus in an unknown program. I've been using SB for around a year now & it's come very useful. I've used it many times to install software & try it out without really installing it to my system, just kept in the sandbox.

Thanks for that, but at the moment i don't have any particular use for that... I know which groups/sites release good stuff, so when something is flagged as a virus by half of the AV's on VirusTotal and i think it's not one, than it's not ;)

So i'll keep this in mind, and use it when needed ;)
