A few days ago, the company announced on its official Internet Explorer web site yet another way to showcase HTML5 programming with the launch of the free Cut The Rope game web site.Cut The Rope is a popular mobile game in the spirit of Angry Birds that was developed by ZeptoLab. The object of the game is to cut the rope of a hanging collector. The collector has to sweep around and grab stars that then go into the mouth of the game's main character, a cute green monster Om Nom. It's not as easy as it sounds. You can check out a behind-the-scenes video of the free HTML5-based Cut the Rope game above this news post. You can also check out a more detailed developers post which gives a lot of technical information about how this HTML5 version was made. T0nyB
Really awesome game, I must say. No need to play it with IE. Works just fine with Firefox/Chrome/Opera or any other browser supporting HTML5. (Stating the obvious, :P).
