alloanwong Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Many softwares turned soar once their developers tried to add on more functions to their core. Nero is one example, used to be the best burner but now the software is over 1gb in size with tones of functions which the users don't want as they have better options for those add-ons.It looks like DFX Audio Enhancer will be another one starting v10.1. It's a media player plug-in, how come now it works like a stand alone program. It stats during windows startup, although you can turn this option off. I remember when 10.1 first came out someone already posting here by not knowing how to disable when it starts with Windows. I think the developer is starting to add additional fuctions for his program, and to me, I just want it to be worked exactly as a plug-in, ie. if you installed it onto WMP then when you start WMP, it then turns on automatically, not more and not less. hellohello Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I also don't like the new behaviour of this DFX. Whenever we launch a player, DFX runs. When we quit the player, DFX stays unlike the previous version which quit as well. However, it can be manually exited.I am thinking maybe DFX is going to make it's program to work system wide.
