Is this better than SRS Audio Essentials?

I highly doubt it.. coz SRS wraps around the entire audio ecosystem.. while DFX only wraps itself to specific players and sites.. besides.. SRS has always been kick ass.. :win:

Reminded me of having SRS Audio Essentials added to the listing replacing the discontinued SRS Audio Sandbox.

Wow so fast for updates. I downloaded .008 few days ago.

For those who don't need it works for whole system, DFX could be a better choice. As for SRS alternative, give breakaway a try. I think it is better than SRS but it is just personal preferences.

I have a strange situation with this new version: the installer only allow me to pick "Inter Explorer 32bit" and "Windows Media Player" to install. all the other items are grey out! I could understand the those grey outs such as Firefox, Chrome, Foobar, VLC Media Center etc as I don't have those programs. However, I have JRiver Media Center installed a long time ago and I have DFX 10.08 installed with it and works properly, but now the the 10.1 just doesn't allow me to install, totally lost! Anyone has similar situation?

I am using Jriver v17 beta so this installer may not able to pick it up. I would stay with 10.08 as it looks like there is not much difference if compares to 10.1 only if you want to enhance the audio with your browsers.

There is option to uncheck/check to disallow/allow the program to run in windows start up, no need to use a third party software to tweak it.
