It says that its valid for the server version only and that we should have to uninstall the pro and use the server edition.

Thanks jofre! Looks like everything works as intended with your posted version. ^_^

BTW people -- unless you need the Screen Saver Mode (which is not included), the Server version is the same as the Professional version, except with a few extra "features" that you'll never use. Don't be afraid of trying it or waiting who-knows-how-long for a fix for Professional, just because it says "Server" in the name.

^In terms of Boot-time defrag, any opinions as to if this or Diskkeeper does a better job?

I have switched to Diskeeper for 1-2 month when I see there will be no medicine for PerfectDisk and I really like it, it's very nice, simple and extremely powerful. ^_^

I want to know if this b309 server edition works with Win XP x32 (Raxco says system requisites are Win server versions only) because I have installed an older Pro version and I don't want to uninstall it and later re-install it.

Thank you very much...

@Nima: Before I've installed Diskeeper 2011 and I was happy with it until I want also to defragment the metadata so I installed Perfectdisk and all works fine. Performance were good with Diskeeper and it's good with Perfectdisk because both keep fragmentation at very low rates.

For people looking for more information about differences between Perfectdisk and Diskeeper then you should go to: http://www.raxco.com...fessional.aspx# once there go to the tab 'Competition' and there's a chart that may help you.

Best regards...

I can not trust that competition, it is very obvious that Raxco will compete in a way that it's product be winner, both of them are the best softwares out there, they are almost the same, I tried both of them for a long period of time and I should say both of them give me the Top Performance. ;)

Thanks,

Thank you very much for your valuable information...

Edit: FYI: Uninstalled previous version. Installed server version. Working ok on Win Xp Sp3 (x32).

Thanks,

I agree with you... If do you see a comparison of a product in it's website it's normal that it's product be on top... but if do you see the points Perfectdisk has and not Diskeeper you can check if it's true or not... Well... I don't want to open a new way in this thread about if Perfectdisk or Diskeeper is better... at last it resumed if do you are satisfied with it or not. For me, I like the way Perfectdisk can handle the fragmentation of the Metadata and Diskeeper can't. I want to say with this, that some people like the options available in Perfectdisk and not in Diskeeper and maybe other people can live without them and viceversa.

Best regards...

But I have tired both of them and I've really got the Peak Performance with them, in my opinion both of them are very good.
