9.0.0 is like 3 days old already, why? because then there's less server usage on the official release day if some get it sooner and some later. 8.0.1 had a bugfix for Macs but whats with this new last day 9.0 issue fix idk.

No, despite showing up in the 9.01 release notes, all that is actually 9.00. From what I gather, 9.01 was pushed out due to an issue on the Linux/Mac side, and the Windows version was only changed to keep the versions in sync.

Modzilla claims that ver.9 is 30% faster than ver.8 using Sunspider Benchmark Suite and V8 Benchmark but when I do the test on both its 6x worse.
