The "restored" dvd has a text file "03-trim2-cd" containing a list of the files you can remove from the dvd to convert it into a CD sized image

Old Computers may not have DVD drive. For such cases the size of the DVD may be reduced by removing some software. The list below shows items that may be deleted together with their respective sizes.

  • Active Boot Disk (/iso/acboot.iso): 155 MB
  • Acronis (directory /iso/acronis): 120 MB
  • Kaspersky (/iamge.squashfs, /iso/KAV10.iso and directory /rescue): 210 MB
  • Paragon Disk Manager (/iso/pgserv.iso): 260 MB
  • SystemRescueCD (/sysrcd.dat): 298 MB
  • Parted magic (directory /HBCD/Boot/pmagic): 180 MB
  • Mini Windows Xp (directory /HBCD/XP): 60 MB
  • Mini Windows 7 (directory /HBCD/7): 172 MB

But you have to download a big file, and rebuild the ISO, i guess...

Maybe one day i'll try, since you never know when you're gonna need this jewel.

Last version i have is v10.5 (latest with those excluded programs), and it is getting old.
