I don't 'need' sandboxie, though it comes handy while running 'keygens' and other similar softwares. It's up to you, if you believe you need it for some reasons, then go for it.

I can 'live' without most things but have no intention of opening an email or browsing without Sandboxie. I'm so used to it now it would be strange without it.

'Can't live without it' is a bit dumb nhf :D

Sure I can live without it , but I use it, if that was the question.

Don't really like AV's , so this is great security utility, light and very effective.

Beside that I have a firewall and that's it.

I wouldn't surf without it now.....especially as I do go to what are sometimes 'unsafe' areas of the internet pron and crack sites ;)....I've used sandboxie and Spyshelter (it has excellent HIPS ) without any AV for 18 months now.....just use MalwareBytes and Hitman Pro for regular scans....never an infection detected...save a few cookie trackers.

on my home pc... im not using antivirus , firewall , antimalware, link scanner etc..

only sandboxie keeps me safe.. all the traces can be undone

there's a way of trojan to bypass the sandboxie but the victim is those people that are noobs :D

i even used internet explorer .. though ie is the most vulnerable browser on earth but

using it with sandboxie there's no vulnerable browser in the dictionary

Jordan de Souza

I just use SB for testing "unknow" stuff. I use bitdefender IS+adblock+custom rules on opendns, have no worries.

I relied on no script for a long time before I tried out sandboxie and for me it is also just an extra layer of defense for discovering the unknown websites/apps. I think it is a very tidy and convenient app that help keep your system clean. There was a 50%-off sale for their lifetime personal license that I regrettably missed. :s

lol i m not  but I was saying was more of a personal opinion than a statement. I think in terms of browser protection, if i hadn't learned how to use no script first, Sandboxie would be my top choice. I think No Script is good but it might not be for everyone (ex: older folks) and in those cases sandboxie is a better choice.

If virtualization using VMWare or VirtualBox is catagorized as a sandbox, then yes, I use it frequently to test new softwares and *fixes* from internet.

sandboxie is the best software that developed to protect browsers . i use it + basic firewall , no avs or what so ever heavy duty security application. :D

I use Sandboxie and only Sandboxie. All you need if configured properly IMO. Makes the PC run so light and it will thank you for it.
