Vista Yahoo Messenger Now Available On XP

Well I decided to have some fun with Yahoo last night after drinking some MD :rofl:....and well after a few minutes of bumps I found an offline link to the vista messenger....and well naturally I dlded it and installed it and guess what ? It works like a charm :sneaky:...you can share files and all with the other users of v8.1 :P

now since I'm using XP the installer installs the messenger to the following destination ↓

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo!\Messenger for Vista\

but you won't need to browse that folder anyways since the build doesn't support messages archive anyways

Note: never tried this...but if you want to update your version...you need to find out the build nr first since when you update it only downloads that crappy mini installer which checks ur system to see if it's compatible with the vista messenger.......and just replace the "2008.01.11.428" with the latest build nr

Note: you need at least Net.FrameWork 3.0 to be able to use the messenger. Get it from here.
