Marik
Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates thinks that voice commands and touch screens are the future. "It's one of the big bets we're making," he said during his fairwell tour. To a crowd of about 1,200 people at Carnegie Mellon University on Thursday, he said that in five years he believes more internet searches will be conducted with voice than keyboards. He also said that the software in the various areas of science must become more advanced. "They're dealing with so much information that ... the need for machine learning to figure out what's going on with that data is absolutely essential," he said. Gates is going to retire in July and focus on philanthropy. Source: Yahoo News
