TuneUp Utilities & Process Lasso conflict

Hello all,

When I checked more accurately, I found that there might a be a little conflict between TuneUp Utilities' Live Optimization and Process Lasso if both of them are installed in a machine and as both of them do the same thing, they might have different settings so there is a possibility of conflict between them, e.g. one of them set higher priority to X and another one make it lower and this is not good.

So, I wanted to discuss it with people who use these programs with each other, and know their ideas and opinions about this and knowing what to do; so, if you are into this please share your comments. ^_^

I myself say it's good to disable the Live Optimization feature and let Process Lasso handle everything. ;) What do you think?

Thanks,

Nima

I have the same question :) I think I'll turn off the TuneUp, but I'd like to hear other views as well.

as for now i use them both and found no problem!!! i

I didn't find any incompatibility between them, but the thing is the effect of either of the software could be or is being canceled by the other - so neither are functioning the way they should. I've disabled TuneUp's LiveOptimization, and let ProLasso (since it's specialization)

if there is no incompatibility then there is no problem using both... and i think they both work differently in managing the process..

+1 confirm here. No problem using and running them both,so far. Take a look at all process graph under Priority Class ! TU service as normal while ProcessGovernor of PL as " ABOVE NORMAL" It means Live Optimization process under controlled by PL

I actually removed PL to see how the live optimisation works. Seems good so far...will wait for some days with some heavy apps...then decide

I've also noticed this; PL is really serious and do it's job repetitive, if you lower them, it will set higher. :D but there should be an end to this end-less war. :D
