I gave up on updating my setpoint. Sticking with 6.15. Anything else doesn't play nicely with my VX Revolution.

Thanks for the update - though I'm not sure whether there will be new feature added to my Logitech M100 mouse :P

An update is an update for me as generally nothing breaks for me.

Thanks.

I have this tendency spilling fluid on my keyboard & mouse. Needing to purchase new ones. Maybe that is why I have no problems updating :)

the changelogs posted are the same since v6.00.68.

there is no new changelogs.

Because they're lazy arses... didn't modify release notes for who knows how many updates :P

I've sent an email a few months ago to their support, asking for changelog, here's the response:

Thank you for contacting Logitech's Customer Care.

From your email I understand that you wants to know the Release Notes for Setpoint/driver updates, and I know this could be frustrating. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we commit to get your issue resolved.

Regarding your query, the difference between the older software and the updated software is, other issue like "missing tab" in the older Setpoint software has been eliminated. The firm ware has been updated and the skin and appearance has been changed.

PS; just to be clear about this, their Support is the best one I've seen. I could be a cheerleader for them, if they wish, no kidding :-D

For sure logitech support is great.

I've RMA'd a couple of things. They send you a new one (usually dispatched same day)... and then ask you to post the old one back whenever you feel like it! Great, huh?

I bought a MX 1100 mouse/Wave keyboard set a while ago. The mouse had some issues with the connection. Minor issues... they insisted to send a replacement... I was very sceptical, as the mouse worked just fine 99% of the time and did not wanted to go back on the old mouse, but in the end I said yes.

They sent me a new Performance MX, 4 years of warranty, and did not even bother to ask for the MX1100 mouse in return... so I still have them both :P

Have heard a lot of good things about their support.

But not so good experience for me, once I called Logitech, they connected me to a guy in US, my mouse was in warranty and was having problems. Explained him the situation in a as technologically correct way I could, he rudely tells me to check the mouse on two another computers and call again. How the hell a broken right click is going to work on another computer? :P

I can't believe you went into the trouble - come to think of it I believe you did.

I wanted to let them know somehow that you don't post new software without a changelog. I knew they had reasonable support, so I had some hopes, but it didn't work out :)
