toyo Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 I don't really have time to experiment and also don't want smaller RAM caches (worse performance), but what I can say is that 11.52 is definitely eating a few hundred MBs more in my PC, compared to 11.51. Credits to johndoe for noticing this, I had no idea, don't really check Opera's RAM usage, since it already is the memory sink of my system, always 500 MB or more due to many tabs open/email/RSS M2 client. johndoe Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 opera has always been lighter on resources (compared to the other slugs) thats why it was very prominent cuz my system had slowed down to a crawl (it does have 2GB memory). it's really very sloppy of the developers to release a version with this big of a memory leak Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
