cFosSpeed is a network driver, which attaches itself to existing Internet connections. It then optimizes data transfer by means of Traffic Shaping. Traffic Shaping is a method for optimizing the Internet traffic. It allows maximum speed while ensuring minimal Ping. You can use cFosSpeed with a router and/or a DSL-modem or cable-modem. You can also use cFosSpeed with other types of Internet access, ie. whenever you already have an existing Internet connection. cFosSpeed supports a wide variety of connections, like DSL, cable, ISDN, UMTS, etc.

Thanks to thylacine for the update.

There could be several thing effecting your connection which could have something to do with it.. and in the particular areas in which you are having problems.. as in some cases some will be and some won't.. Have you tried calibrating cFos?

Did you post on cfospeed forums or send email2 them?

If we know what version, what programs you running together and what kind of internet you are using and which settings have you tried2 change then we can tell whats your problem.

Don't favor ping time if want 100% bandwidth use. Go2 traffic shaping and instead auto select Yes + Options and select correct medium, there are a lot of choices which make some pple confused :( If cable then cable if Wifi then try 2G/3G

Right click on programs task bar icon and select cFosPeedTest then right click again on icon to select calibrate line and then on website select RX and then TX. < if MS is lower than 120 then everything's fine for normal use.

There are lots of improvements to be made on the program for first time users who don't know how2 setup stuff properly.

cFosSpeed doesn't speed up the connection, it stabilizes it. Uninstall cFos and download torrents, watch youtube videos, download softwares and open webpages all at the same time. It wont be possible. But after you installs cFos it makes it very much possible to accomplish same tasks easily. :)

Just calibrate your line (right clicking the tray > traffic shaping > calibrate line). Do two small speed test and two big.
