It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.

EDIT: Hmmm maybe that patch doesn't work. Help > About says it is activated but ProcessGovenor.exe in the log states that it's still the standard free edition. I'll have to investigate...

EDIT: Looks like some parts are registered and some parts aren't. For example the register button in the main window is gone, automatic game mode works and you can start the engine as a service but on the flip side you can't save Windows scheduler changes. Odd.

I propose that this fix gets added to the front page underneath the x86 patch. I hate having to dig through the threads to find this fix again and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with this problem...

Rock Lee is that old patch still working for the latest version of Process Lasso x64 as a forum member stated it was no longer working a few versions back?

I don't want to upgrade my version (v5.0.0.42) as I no longer have the original setup file.

The author changed the licensing mechanism on or around v5.0.0.45 so I assumed that may have been the reason if it's true that the patch is no longer working.

I have just updated and used the patch for v5 (Patch_Process_Lasso_5xx.exe) and it is working perfectly for me.
