majithia23 Posted September 26, 2011 Share Posted September 26, 2011 For all those music buffs , you must be knowing about the Pandora Radio .for those who dont , its a free radio service , with a paid upgrade , but only for the US citizens .restricted for use outside US .the best thing about Pandora is the Music Genome Project , which powers it and it is strikingly good in suggesting new songs and the ones that are quite similar in style to the one you tell it to play .so its a good tool for finding new music and that too according to ones taste .so as i m in India , it does not work for me , but i used to get it working through any Proxies or VPNs or any way ...but a few days back i forgot to turn on the proxy and to my surprise , Pandora started without it .Happy and thinking that they might have upgraded their service i let it pass, ..... :think:until now , , , ,, , , i tried Pandora in Opera , my alternative browser to the regular Firefox , and this is what i get ----RESTRICTED ..same in Chrome , And IE9 ..!!and ironically and strangely In Firefox it works smooth , without a Hitch ...!! been playing it for the past 2 Hrs now .....here ---now how the Fcuk is this possible ..!!! :think:it says Restricted in any other browser but not in Firefox ..!! :mellow: So , Pandora has an Easter Egg !!! a Firefox loyalist , cant deny the master its service ... !! :P :Dany ideas guys ...! majithia23 Posted September 30, 2011 Author Share Posted September 30, 2011 yeah canada might be allowed ...after all they are open borders ....but the pandora allowed and restricted on one same computer , ( the default being blocked ..) , based only on a browser , is beyond my reasoning ..i tried every way to break it , but FF is all Green and every other browser is , well dead .... !
