I haven't seen any working serials in ages, so moved on to patches and it's still updating fine without having to reapply the patch. Thanks for the program+crack link Zap316. this crack works on AMD/Acer too and i suspect it might be more up to date. You were a bit quicker on the draw, thank you for a fast response. No more serials needed inddeed man! For some reason though your linked proram does not get overwritten by an update of the database. I suspect it's more recent than Demonoid's patch. The release needs to be tested by the manufacturer then tested by windows, by that time another update comes along. Avitar Posted October 28, 2011 Author Share Posted October 28, 2011 ok, i uninstalled it with REVO uninstaller pro, deleted the app data folder for driver genius, removed the folder in My Documents, scanned and deleted all invalid registry entries with Windows 7 manager, restarted, reinstalled, did not run the program, moved and replaced the files in %program files% [where it was installed]....Now The program reaches as far as requesting elevation... then DOES NOT START UP!!! I used the method by Zap16 as suggested... DOES NOT START UP!!! :(Why... Why??? I'm not an idiot in computers, i could disassemble the package and recode it if necessary, edit the hosts file to redirect activation attempts back to my lappy as a positive response... inject code etc... but why can't i do this crack?... :( why... :'(I feel so stupid because i can't get this program to work.., now i'm stuck with outdated drivers :( :( :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

avmad Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 I've noticed sometimes Driver Genius is running in background (not doing anything) after starting it, if it happens close it with task manager or something and try to run it again.
