If you think 17-inch laptops are big enough, then you are about to see the mother of big-screen laptops - a 43-inch one. Yes, you read that correctly. YouTube channel Evan and Katelyn showed the muscle to work on this rather impractical project and achieved success.

Earlier this month, we covered a story about Microsoft showing a silly full-screen Windows 11 upgrade prompt with two "yes" buttons. Back then, we said that making a device unsupported by disabling TPM was one way to ensure the ad would not appear on your computer. As it turned out, we were wrong: Microsoft is now carpet-bombing all Windows 10 users with that prompt, and even devices with notable outdated and unsupported specs are receiving an offer to upgrade to Windows 11.

Have you ever wondered what would modern Windows 11 look like had Microsoft released it more than twenty years ago? We have already seen a mod turning Windows 10 into an indistinguishable Windows XP replica, and now here is a similar take on Windows 11 with its controversial Start menu, centered taskbar, dark mode, and more.

You know what day this is if you are reading this post, and it's not Valentine's day. It's the second Tuesday of the month, which means its Patch Tuesday for Windows 11 owners. The February 2023 update has been labeled as KB5022845, and once you install it on your PC, it will update the Windows 11 version number to 22621.1265.

It's the second Tuesday of the month, which means it's Patch Tuesday time again. As such, today Microsoft is rolling out the monthly security update (also called "B release") for February 2023 on Windows Server 20H2, and Windows 10 for the latest versions, 21H1, 21H2, and 22H2. The new updates are being distributed under KB5022834, bumping up the builds to 19042.2604, 19044.2604, and 19045.2604.

About a year ago, Microsoft introduced a new prompt inside Windows 11 system settings that would remind users who were running Windows 11 on unsupported systems. The reminder said "System requirements not met" with a "Learn more" at the end linking to a Microsoft webpage explaining the Windows 11 hardware and software requirements.

Soon after this, Microsoft decided to make this far more conspicuous by adding it to the desktop itself. It began with the Dev Channel where a new "System requirements not met" watermark will show on the screen alongside the Windows version and build number.

A new report by Deskmodder claims that this watermark has now begun rolling out to build 22621 users as well, which means it is hitting Windows 11 version 22H2, and perhaps more Beta Channel Insiders as well. Around a month after Windows 11 22H2 or the Windows 11 2022 Update went public, Microsoft had quietly updated the supported processors list for Windows 11 22H2. The requirements didn't really change compared to the original Windows 21H2 release as a few newly released chips from AMD and Intel were added.

Any user or organization still using Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser on Windows 10 devices will find themselves in a precarious situation tomorrow.

On February 14th, 2023, Internet Explorer 11 will be permanently disabled on Windows 10 devices. The browser never made its way into Windows 11 officially, and all previous client versions of Windows are no longer supported by Microsoft.

Last year, we learned that Microsoft has moved to a gradual rollout of new features in Windows every few months or so, which the company refers to as "moments". We seem to be moving closer to the impending Moment Update 2 for Windows 11 22H2, which should be happening some time soon, (reports suggest around February and March). Meanwhile, internal work on future Moment updates, like Moment 3 is also seemingly underway. Hence, it should come as no surprise that the Redmond company is now gearing up for what's beyond, which means Moment 4.

According to early reports, the Moment 4 update is going to be the yearly feature update that happens later in 2023. Hence Moment 4 is what Microsoft reportedly refers internally to the Windows 11 version 23H2 or Sun Valley 3 (SV3 in short).

Although the most recent news about Edge has been mostly positive (improved password manager, a new productivity feature, and an upcoming reimagining), Microsoft is about to give its browser arguably one of the worst changes it has ever received. Edge insiders in the Dev and Canary channels noticed a new button on the toolbar that looks and works truly bewildering.

Some people have been experiencing difficulty getting to their Windows desktop due to an unskippable ad for Microsoft 365, the Redmond tech giant's suite of productivity and collaboration software.

One Reddit user published a photo of their Windows 10 computer displaying a full-screen Microsoft 365 Family trial ad during the out-of-box experience (OOBE). "Windows 10 preventing me from booting into desktop without first non-consensually being forced to accept their free trial and $100 monthly thereafter (obviously I cancelled after but WTF Microsoft)," the Redditor's post stated.

The latest Windows 11 preview build has a couple of new widgets, one questionable change for the Start menu, and a long list of various fixes. However, the most exciting changes lurk deep inside the OS and require some tinkering to uncover. As spotted by the ever-giving source of hidden Windows features, @PhantomOfEarth, Windows 11 build 25290 finally delivers one much-needed improvement for File Explorer.

It appears that Microsoft is getting more aggressive with Windows 11 promos. A Reddit user (the post is now removed) has published a photo of their Windows 10 computer with a full-screen Windows 11 ad offering to upgrade to the latest operating system. And in typical Microsoft fashion, available options are as head-scratching as it gets: two buttons, and both mean "I agree."

Microsoft arguably did a great job upgrading and facelifting Windows Settings when transitioning from Windows 10 to 11. The new app features a sleek modern design, improved navigation, better accessibility, and many new sections. However, the Settings app is far from perfect. This part of the operating system still needs improvements, as seen by posts and upvotes on Feedback Hub from those caring enough to share their feedback with Microsoft. In this installment of the "Top 10 features users want," we look at what customers want Microsoft to improve in Windows 11's Settings app.

The following list shows suggestions published on Feedback Hub that Microsoft has yet to implement. Ideas and requests for changes Microsoft has already made are not included.
