Intel has released two new wireless drivers for Windows 11 users. Intel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers version 23.170.0 are now available for download, and they introduce official Windows 11 version 25H2 support. The latter was released on September 30, and Intel finally has drivers that officially support the latest Windows 11 release.
In addition to optimizations for Windows 11 version 25H2, Intel Wireless Wi-Fi driver 23.170.0 introduces Wi-Fi 7 support for enterprise access points. Note that Wi-Fi 7 is only supported on Windows 11, even though the driver itself is still available for Windows 10.
Here is the changelog for the Wi-Fi driver:
- Wi-Fi drivers version 23.170.0 have been validated to support all new Wi-Fi features introduced with Microsoft Windows 11 25H2, including Wi-Fi 7 capabilities to enterprise access points and support for native Wi-Fi sensing.
- This software release version 23.170.0 has been updated to include functional updates. There may be other minor issues addressed that will impact performance, stability, or vendor-specific functionality not listed above. Users are encouraged to update to the latest version for the best performance.
As for the Bluetooth driver, its changelog also only mentions Windows 11 version 25H2 support and "functional updates" for optimal performance:
