if i place an ISO game image on a home network server etc. can two different computers with that game installed but needing a virtual mount to allow gaming said game work at the same time? bascially trying to free up space later so the computers only have the install part. not into burnign all those disk instead of virutal mounting.

I think I am missing something, but wouldn't a NoCD/DVD patch be a better solution? What game(s) are you trying to play that need a virtual mount to play?

there really not many no cd patches anymore unlike the good old days or game rips. its easier to just virtual mount it now. i was figuring a game only checkes the virtual mount every so often if more then the first time. with that in man i was just seeing if anyone knew etc if it be okay to have 2 different computers connected the same newwork access the same iso on a home network server using virtual mount software on each computer.

im figuring yes i just like to make sure before i go that way.

Don't know if the game will run well over the network (seems like it would be OK on a fast LAN link), but I could imagine each PC should be able to mount the ISO to a drive and run it. You'll really just have to try it to be sure though.
