HX1
Okay .. even with my Sansa... years ago.. Video is encoded specifically to play for those devices. Just like when you encode some music it will be encoded specifically for that device type and optimized to perform optimally with it.. and not have a very high quality.. specific video size.. so on and on.. NOW let's talk about backwards compatibility .. when you have a video which is already in a format which will work but is not optimal or to specifications for the device.. such as an encoder which is design for it.. These files will play on a PC and be fine and possibly on the device as well.. Where the other one will not ..in many cases play n both with the same success. SO.. if you want it to do both.. You will need to get specs from a vid which is done for the device.. and use those settings and format.. compression.. containers, vid/aud type bandwidth?.. all of it the same... and do it so that the video is basically the same but without the flip option or w/e.... I actually think this is something or can be something to do with settings.. but I would have to look into it... things is when using a specific settings for iPod or setup click and go.. it will do this every time.. There is more details.. I dug into this a long time ago but for the most part it is what the problem is... My Sansa had to have them flipped or rotated -90 degrees.. to display correctly utilizing the most of the screen.. and at a specific size to take up less space and specific compression, container to be processed by the device and in a smooth adequate manner.. These things can also effect battery and charging life as well but they are more obscure to most ..
Administrator DKT27 Posted September 10, 2011 Administrator Share Posted September 10, 2011 Well, I wanted to post but just then my ISP felt it should have fun and disconnect me for a hour or two. ANW, I've changed the title. It's also likely that this particular version of CoreAVC is doing this. I gotta say though, CoreAVC is very buggy. jalaffa
Maybe the setups are conflicting things? A virgin x86 does not produce this, nor my main x64 machine.
