CoreAVC is known in the industry as being the standard for playback of high quality H.264 video. The new CoreAVC Decoder allows you to offload video decoding to any accelerated decoder that works with either NVIDIA CUDA or ATI with Microsoft's DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA) interface for any Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 PC.

Thanks to sternog for the update.

is this a codec for watching movies??

Kinda. It's for .mp4 and .mkv files or any other files encoded in H.264.

With the 3.0 version I couldn't get it to work with the Hali splitter on MP4 files. I notice on this updated version there is an updated Hali splitter that addresses something to do with MP4 so maybe it fixes the problem I was experiencing with 3.0. I can't test to be sure until a working serial for this new version is available.

Nope, with keygen you will run into problems with decoder, use real key provided by ExeBat

You are right. I found the problem just now. Everything turns to red, oh my eyes......

thx for the working key....(* ̄▽ ̄)

The new version of Hali fixed the problem I was having with CoreAVC and MP4's and now the Hali splitter works with MP4's.

Why do you people bothering with this nonsense, get sharks007 c/pack and enjoy free world! It has all of this and even more. Just advising ;-)

Nothing equals CoreAVC (except hardware-based decoding). :)

I used to use Shark's pack, but now Shark Win7 codecs no longer supports CoreAVC or anything as good, imo, for MP4's and MKV's. Actually, just getting Daum Potplayer is a big step up from Shark's pack and settings tool, imo. But Potplayer can also be customized to use CoreAVC for appropriate files types, which is awesome. PP is an awesome player that has constantly updated built in codecs, splitters, etc., that support everything, plus CoreAVE (i.e., an awesome HD filter) is a great combination.

You'll need to convert those videos to H.264, that is, with either mp4 or mkv container. :)

All codec packs do is to mess up everything. IMO the simplest and most effective combination is MPC-HC + FFDSHOW + CoreAVC, though you can skip the last one. No codec pack needed.

You want to use WMP? Fine, install FFDSHOW + Haali splitter + CoreAVC and play your MKV, MP4, MOV, M2TS and OGG/OGM files.
