after clearing firefox all over - ive managed to get the buttons back, but now i have an "alive" photo left hand side of the [reply][multiquote]

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/812/50455837.jpg/

This alive photo is only on my posts. all other posts "tabs for reply are fine".

edit2

chrome works fine.

Ccleaner Run. All boxes ticked for firefox.

Firefox 6.0 - cache and evrything clears on browser exit.

Firefox 6.0 - safe mode i still see emotions. (after clearing everything emotions went and gained another photo/tab).

Firefox 6.0 - second boot into safemode still shows the "alive photo".

Second Profile created - Buttons are back to normal. wierd.

It obviously shouldn't be happening. What browser is this? Clear it's cache completely and make another try.

It works OK here... Not using FF as my main browser so you might have some non-default settings/customisations that conflict with the site that I'm now aware of... Have a little patience until a more FF experienced member responds :)

Please let me know whether this persists, I will only have time to look into it tomorrow (noon-ish), but I think it should fix itself (as it's happened before and there was little we could do about it, but it went away).

FF8 isn't affected by this bug. It's likely that a fix will be pushed in the near future by Mozilla on the other development branches.

Yea I get similar experiences infrequently. It works itself out after a while. I have no clue what causes it but same as you it only happens in Firefox but it goes back to normal after a while.

Sory for the late reply - ive been away from the internet for a few days.

The problem is still here with me.

I still have the "alive box" on some other Tab at the bottom right of my posts only.

If i hover my mouse over the the Tab/Photo that is ghosting from somewhere i get this URL.

Run firefox in "safe mode" and see if the problem persists.

You could also try a create a new profile and see then too.

Do also clear all your caches.
