toyo
StrongDC++ is a client for sharing files in Direct Connect network. It is modification of program DC++ and it brings many news and features from other modification. Since DC++ is developed under GNU/GPL, you can download source and modify it.Download

toyo
I rely very much on StrongDC++ given my net comes from a LAN (Optic Fibre - dunno the subtilities). When I need some older movie or so, that don't need torrent browsing, SDC is the 1st I open. No seeding needs, it is only about how... polite you are. Also, if you have a new release, let's say the last Need for Speed 1hr after appeared on the torrents and leave it on SDC, you may very well find hard to use your system, SDC eats all the resources it can find (if you have net from LAN at least). In the end, a very good program for leechers. I think it's the chatting feature that keeps ppl on seeding too. But remember, if you don't know good hubs, this app can be frustrating to use, even if it is stable and very useful in the right conditions.
