Adobe Creative Suite 5(.5) / CS Live&Kuler

I'll be very short :)

Because of the hosts blocking activation servers, it's practically impossible to use Kuler or CS Live inside the Creative Suite apps. Kuler was very useful to me especially inside Illustrator. Now, you get a "Not connected" message. Even with only 2 entries blocked (activate.adobe.com and practivate.adobe.com), it doesn't work.

Inside the %temp% directory, you will find a amt3.log file. Some entries are pretty explanatory:

I doubt there's a solution to this but buying, but I do have faith in the limitless inventiveness of the Internet masses. I hope some of you will get a stroke of genius :)

CS Live.. uhhmm.. don't know.. BUT... in fact.. You can install Adobe Air.. should be already installed if you have the Suite.. and then go to the site and search for Kuler.. I have it as a standalone and I can also run the Omnimo 4.1 Kuler icon quite well.. so I am not for sure.. Anyway there is a standalone version..

Yeah I remember having the Kuler app the last Windows install :P This time I used the site directly. Still, access inside PS/AI is better :)
